Motherhood and my interest in anatomy, physiology and the self-healing capacity of the body, led me to study osteopathy at the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal. I was awarded the Andrew Taylor Still, DO prize for my thesis titled A Qualitative Study on the Osteopathic Approach to the Vagus Nerve. This prize recognizes the thesis which most represents the advancement of osteopathy in the field of philosophical and sociological research. Earlier in my career, I studied biology in Mexico, and then obtained a Master of Science degree from New York University.
I’ve participated in humanitarian missions in Peru and in Pakistan with Osteopathy without Borders, where I was touched by the universality of the healing power and beauty of osteopathy. My work aims to help recover harmony and balance between body, mind and spirit.
Since the end of my studies, I have taken courses on biodynamics, the osteopathic treatment of babies, the somatic-emotional dysfunction, sports osteopathy and psychosomatic osteopathy.
